Joe Horn Has No Problem Lying to You

It's approaching time to let go of the messy divorce between Joe Horn and the Saints, but not before Horn gets caught in a lie.
Those were Horn's parting shots, which were discussed here earlier. But let's revisit them, after news was reported by the NFL Network's Adam Schefter that Horn failed his offseason physical and that the Saints still offered him a deal (albeit, at a cheaper price).
Horn said that he'd play for $2.50 with incentives if he felt the team wanted him, well...isn't a contract offer despite a failed physical enough of an invitation to stay? What else does he need? Sorry, Joe -- the "PLEASE COME BACK JOE HORN!" parade float couldn't be finished on time.

I HAVE BEEN A SAINTS FAN THROUGH THE GOOD AND THE BAD. I WAS REALLY EXCITED WHEN SEAN PAYTON CAME ON LINE, BUT THE I HEARD THE JOE HORN DEBACLE. I AM STUCK IN TEXAS SINCE THE STORM SO I DO NOT GET MUCH NEWS. BUT SEEMS LIKE THINGS NEVER SEEM TO CHANGE YOU HAVE A GOOD THING THEN YOU MESS WITH IT.
